Terms and conditions of sale are important to us and to our customers.
We Firespares74 are known as ‘The Seller’ and the customer you ‘The Buyer’.
Browsing, using the website and telephoning and emailing services are bound by the terms and conditions.
The contents of our website are for general information and use only and is subject to change without notice.
All the orders are purchased on the agreement that these terms and conditions are accepted by the Buyer.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Contacting us means e-mailing, telephoning or writing to us. We generally prefer emails as these tend to be quicker and we can therefore sort out any problems or answer any queries quickly,
Delivery and Pricing
Delivery charges normally range from £3.50 to £9.60 inclusive of VAT.
Some of our items include free post and packing.
We do not deliver direct from the manufacturer unless they are made in house and then therefore we are known as the manufacturer.
Our despatch timespan is quoted from 2-3 days and should the order be expected to take any extra time we will advise you on your payment of goods. The stock shown is sometimes not the actual stock we hold, whilst we endeavour to keep our stock up to date, because of sales and supply times from manufacturers this may not be accurate.
Once despatched the delivery time is 3-5 days and should this not be met then we would advise you contact ourselves and we will investigate why.
Sometimes delays do happen and we recommend that you have all the goods first before you book any installer /builder. For this reason we will not be held responsible for any delivery being late and any cost incurred.
Our delivery charges (incl free P&P) is based on Mainland UK deliveries only.
UK Ireland/Offshore will be charged extra and please contact re costings.
The chosen courier is My Hermes who deliver Mon-Sat 8am – 9pm.
A secured location for your goods can be arranged between the Buyer and the Seller at the buyers own risk.
Other carriers can be arranged if required for example is you require next day delivery or signed for delivery.
If this is needed this must be arranged on purchase and payment of goods and delivery.
Inspection and Warranties of goods
Once delivery is met buyers are required to inspect the goods and report any discrepancies within 48 hours via our email or telephone,
Damaged in transit does not mean the same as faulty goods. Our couriers provide us with additional insurance for these matters.
Any delivery that is attempted to be made by the courier where the package is seen to be damaged, then the delivery should be refused and the seller be contacted. After the buyer has accepted the delivery, we the seller, cannot be held responsible for any subsequent damage, however as a gesture of goodwill we will be prepared to look into each individual case.
The goods will leave here in perfect condition and should arrive same.
Any damages must be photographed and sent for us to see before we can decide what action to take.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the product supplied is correct, errors sometimes occur and we the seller will do all we can to correct this.
Should the goods need replacing this will be done at no cost to ‘The Buyer’
Should be incorrect goods be ordered by The Buyer then they will have to be returned to the Seller and the Buyer will have to pay the carriage charge for their return.
On receipt of the wrong goods we will either replace or refund the goods, whatever the buyer requests.
Should the incorrect part cost more then the buyer will have to pay the difference before the correct part is dispatched.
The goods are described on the listing and they should be used accordingly and the buyer takes responsibility for ordering the correct part/spare for their unit.
We recommend that if you have any doubts regarding the item you wish to order, then please email or telephone us for our advice.
Any photos, appliance details or part nos would be helpful at this stage. This service is offered to help reduce the purchase of incorrect spares.
Due to the nature of the use of the items we supply some items cannot carry a guarantee or warranty.
Any data on the webite is sourced from many reference points. Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, time lines, performance, completeness or suitability of the information found on this site. You aknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracities or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracities.
Should you meet a problem then we will investigate each case individually and report our findings to the buyer.
Please note that any faults due to the buyers negligence or incorrect use of any item shall not be covered by any guarantee or warranty and we cannot be held responsible for the buyers misuse.
We the seller would recommend that any specialist spares be fitted by a responsible and hetas registered fitter. (These can be located on major search engines for qualified fitters)
We the seller will not be held responsible for any parts fitted incorrectly by the buyer
We accept full payment by all the major credit and debit cards (excluding amex) either online or by telephone.
Orders will not be dispatched until payment has been made in full.
These will be given where fair and appropriate. The refunds will only be issued against the cost of the product and not on the cost of the shipment. The buyer will not be issued with a refund in any of the following circumstances:
1) Damage done by the buyer himself or herself.
2) If the buyer changes their mind
3) If buyer accepts a damaged parcel
4) All refunds will be looked into on an individual basis.
We confirm that any information collected through our website will only be used for its intended purpose. No personal data will be passed on to any third parties or agencies.
From time to time we may provide discount codes for sale items or as a gesture of goodwill to our customers and for this reason we may ask that we can keep you information on a secured register so contact can be made when these offers become available.
The codes will be offered with a time span and therefore an expiry date will come into effect. If the codes are not used before the date then they become null and void.
Shipment and Billing
It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that all addresses for shipping and billing are correctly supplied to the seller.
Any incorrect addresses leading to extra charges will mean that the charges are passed onto the seller.
We have the right to amend and cancel the rewards scheme at any time. Points are to be used against designated products and have no cash value or alternative. Points can not be used against any carriage costs. Points are calculated by the system, you must be logged in when ordering for your points to be added to your account. We can not add points to customers accounts if they were not signed in when placing there order.
Points can only be redeemed against selected Parkray and Charnwood products. The products that can be purchased with reward points state how many points you require to purchase the item.
